Screenings

“I am currently working as an addiction counseling intern at a women's minimum pre-release prison. I am doing a Movie Discussion group and showed Scenes from a Parish to 18 inmates last night...They were blown away by your film. We discussed the label “prisoner” and how that affects their lives. We also discussed racism, Rosaura's coming out, and the homeless outreach under the bridge. I expressed that I thought the film was trying to say that no matter who you are or what you've done, it's important for people to feel that they are loved and that they are a part of something bigger than them that is positive.”
